Do you need a freelance programmer for your ASP.NET website? |
|
Today, nearly everyone has the need for a freelance programmer.
My name is John Johnson and I am the President of Tampa Web Development, Inc. While it is true that my
company is a Corporation; in general, I am a freelance ASP.NET web developer. I have been creating and maintaining
web applications for over 7 years. The majority of my clients are small businesses and even individuals that
find a website to be a requirement in today's world. It is not possible for most small businesses to hire a full-time,
permanent programmer or IT staff. That is where I come in.
Many clients only have the need for a programmer a couple of times per year. Each project might only be as few
as 6-8 hours of work. Other times, the project may last weeks. Either way, it is usually more convienent and cost-efficient
to hire an individual on a hourly basis instead of contracting a large "software house".
True, there are websites specifically geared towards freelancing, but often the cons are greater than the pros.
There are many barriers when using websites like ScriptLance or
GetAFreelancer. The most obvious issue is the geographic difference
between yourself and the potential freelancer. When you are in Tampa or Orlando and contract a web designer in India, you
will need to be up at 1:00 AM to chat with him on an instant messenger. Then, there is usually a language barrier, too. Most programmers
or "web guys" hate talking on the telephone. They don't usually like meeting face-to-face, either. I understand business, and I
try to understand my clients' needs. I have no problem meeting with you at your office, Starbucks, or over the telephone and discussing
your project in detail.
So, if you are looking for a freelance programmer that has years of experience, drop me an email or even give me a call.
